Linkin Park supports the environment.

Linkin Park is a famous American rock band which was established in 1996 and has six members: Chester Bennington (Vocals), Rob Bourdon (Drums), Brad Delson (Guitar), Dave Farrell (Bass) , Joe Itann (Dj, Phonography, Sampler, Programming) and Mike Shinada (Vocals, Rapper, rhythm guitar, keyboard and piano) It achieved success in 2000 with the debut album Hybrid Theory which was certified by the RIAA diamond in 2005. For years, this band has cared and has been involved with issues about the environment. The concern is such that the band founded a charity called Music for Relief.
The environment is a common theme today and for the members of Linkin Park it’s more than a theme. For them, the environment is above all matters. They founded a charity to help victims of natural disasters, i.e. the Tsunami (2004), Katrina (2005), forest fires in California (2007), earthquakes in Haiti (2010) and the most recent earthquakes in Japan (2011). They also use sustainable products and fuels some shows to raise money to plant trees. So Linkin Park became not only a rock band, but a band for sustainability.
Linkin Park is a great example of a band that cares about the world. They are not only a heavy metal band which wants to gain money with their songs. There is a meaning in its lyrics, a legacy. A innovative way to warn the young that the planet is here and asking for help! If all or just most of people were concerned about this issue, we would not be in the situation we are now. Would you do the same?
