How can international music help your English?


International music can really help your English, but to make a difference you have to pay attention to the lyrics and to the pronunciation.
Music in English can help you learn many things: new words, expressions and how you can use this in your routine. You can read the lyrics while you listen to the songs. If you pay attention to the lyrics and to the context you can learn at least five new words and make your vocabulary richer.
Ex:
“Imagine all the people living for today”. (John Lennon - Imagine)
“ It’s when I live in a hiding place”. (Idlewild – Live in a hiding place)
When listening to English music and the singer speaks slowly and uses correct language you can understand better. If we understand, we can singer along imitate and practice.
